Novimari, exclusive retailer of hand-crafted home and personal accessories made only in Tuscany, has opened a boutique in Fort Lauderdale at Victoria Park Shoppes on U.S. 1. Novimari is the only international brand fostering and promoting the Made in Tuscany design, according to company CEO Stefano Matini. “Novimari is for the discriminating buyer seeking traditional craftsmanship and quality, with a new and unique modern approach,” said Matini. “All offerings are individually crafted with artistry, love and experience.” Matini and Novimari co-founder Ilaria Niccolini joined their artistic and business backgrounds in 2001 with the intent of representing Tuscan design. Both Florence natives, Matini and Niccolini come from families of silk traders and crystal glass producers. The two entrepreneurs have direct relationships with a variety of Tuscan craftspeople and artisans which allows greater quality control and lower retail prices than competitors selling Made in Italy products. Shoppers may choose from a wide variety of home and personal accessories for registry, housewarming, anniversary and birthday ideas including bed and bath, drink ware, handbags, home accessories, interiors, jewelry, kids, kitchen, leather, natural products, serving pieces, silverware and tableware. Novimari also operates as a consultant for architects and interior designers and creator of its own exclusive designs, which are manufactured by the same producers the company represents. All producers, located in the Tuscan region of Italy, are well-established businesses in the European market known for the outstanding quality of their craftsmanship.
