Center South Florida is an arts incubator promoting the development of
visual arts and artists, ArtCenter is an important resource for South
Florida's cultural life. Through our policy of open studios and free
admission, ArtCenter exposes the public to the artistic process on a
daily basis, helping promote the idea that everyone can be connected to
the creative energy of art-making. Simultaneously, we nurture the
artists' creative efforts and encourage the community's understanding of
the value of this effort, helping residents and visitors reconnect with
the creative energies inherent in us all. No other institution in the
region offers this array of services or even
 this
kind of approach. ArtCenter/South Florida, a not-for-profit
organization, is dedicated to advancing the knowledge and practice of
contemporary visual arts and culture in South Florida. ArtCenter exists
to provide affordable workspace on Lincoln Road in Miami Beach for
outstanding visual artists in all stages of career development.
ArtCenter offers access to resources and support, creates opportunities
for experimentation and innovation, and encourages the exchange of ideas
across cultures and artistic disciplines. ArtCenter's mission is
manifested through three primary program components: the juried artist
program, contemporary exhibition program and our multiple education
