Born in Havana, Cuba Fermin Rojas has been a “native” of South Florida since 1966.  Fermin is a Business Administration and Finance FIU alumnus with 25 years experience in the mortgage industry.  His mortgage career includes having been C.O.O. and Secondary Marketing Manager of Residential Mortgage Services and First Bankers Mortgage, two multi-state mortgage brokerage businesses with numerous offices.  He also has over 20 years experience as a Conventional and FHA underwriter.  As a dedicated mortgage broker for the last four years, he focuses on service and identifying the right mortgage product to meet each customer’s current and future financial plans.  He has served on advisory boards for FNMA, FHLMC and Chase Manhattan Mortgage.  He is fluent in Spanish. On a personal note, Fermin served on the Board of Directors of Lambda South Inc. in Fort Lauderdale for two years and has been a member of the Miami Gay Men’s Chorus for the last 3 years; an activity that is close to his heart in serving the South Florida community.
