“Summer Sex in South Florida”

David Forest (www.forestmen.com) calls it “Summer Sex in South Florida,” although I would call it “Muscle Gods Bring The Heat.”  David Forest is also calling it a “Bodybuilder Boogie” at Boardwalk, where four his most successful models will make live appearances this year.  For PRIDE weekend, we were all treated to the amazingly hunky Trent Fosters making his South Florida debut.  All I can say is that they sure know how to grow them “down under!”  This Australian Hunk has all the right parts and then some!

Matt Rush, who has been at the Boardwalk before, will be there for the July 4^th weekend, Caesar will be there in August, and the series closes with a bang, so to speak, on Labor Day Weekend with the amazing Zeb Atlas.  Each star appears for three nights in Ft. Lauderdale, 2 nights (Friday and Saturday) at Boardwalk, and Sunday at the Voodoo Lounge for their Sunday Tea Dance. 

Even though I was unable to stay in Fort Lauderdale for the entire Pride weekend (I had to go away on a biz trip), I did get the distinct pleasure of getting to meet and interview Trent Fosters at Boardwalk this past Friday night.  I want to thank Victor (owner) for being so cordial and allowing us to do this interview and feature his bar in Below the Belt.  Mark (our creative genius of this site) joined me for the interview and from the look on his face when he met Trent in person, I can tell you that Mark was speechless. So I let Mark stand there with his jaw on the ground as I proceeded with the interview.

GIO   Trent, thank you for taking the time to meet with us…(I glanced over at mark) Mark?  Hello?  You can stop staring now!  Hey! Can you promise to behave while we do this interview? (all laughing) 

Mark Oh, Oh…Sorry.  I promise, I will just stand here and admire… damn, you are a hot looking man, sorry for staring, I couldn’t help myself. (Trent nods and smiles at mark and then looks back to me), go ahead Gio, I’ll be quiet. 

GIO  Well Trent it is a pleasure to meet you and welcome you to Fort Lauderdale.  Is this your first time to Fort Lauderdale and/or Miami?  How do you like it? 

TF    (Responds with the most beautiful Australian accent) Yeah it is actually.  It has been raining the whole time I’ve been here though.  Just beautiful rain, the hotel room is magnificent though, that is all I have seen so far (he laughs).  I have been to Miami a few times; and I did venture up near Fort Lauderdale, but did not go out to any clubs or anything. 

GIO   Yeah, it has been raining a lot this past week, but we are glad you made it to our city.  So, do you hope to have a good time while you are here? 

TF    If it keeps raining…No. (Gives me a sad look) 

GIO  So I understand your performing career began in Australia with Man Power Australia and the show The Thunder from Down Under.  How was working on that show and did you work with Billy Cross?   

TF    Oh yeah, I worked with Billy.  The experience was awesome.  It is a lot of hard work, ya know! (He gets very animated while telling the following)  You dance six days a week and two of those days are double shows on Friday and Saturday night.  It is a full scale production, a quarter million dollar lighting system, very high tech and so is the staging and choreography.  I mean you do flips and tumbling on hard wood floors and it can be very grueling on the body. 

GIO  Well I would not mind seeing you do a few flips and tumbles! (both laugh) Now that you are living in the U.S. have you watched the new show Strip Search on VH1 that features Billy Cross scouting for his next crop of performers for Thunder Down Under in Las Vegas? 

TF    (He laughs and gives a big grin) you know, I have not seen it.  But I have had a couple guys call me up and tell me that Billy Cross has this new show. I have been told it has been bought by Europe TV as well and different Countries have a lot of interest in it.  If it is anything like the real deal, then it will be interesting to watch I am sure. 

GIO  Well I have seen the show and it is interesting and entertaining to watch for sure. After leaving Australia and coming to America, I know you started in Texas and made you way out to L.A., how did you get discovered at COLT by Jim French? 

TF    How did I get discovered? Uhhh… Somebody told him that I used to be part of Man Power Australia in the show Thunder from Down Under and I was approached via a phone call and he said, “Hey, I want to shoot you.”  After all he is one of the best photographers in the world and he wanted to shoot me, I was like…who am I to argue (gives me a wink with the most spectacular smile).  Jim French is awesome; he is incredible to work with.  The man is just a great person and his photos are amazing. 

GIO  I echo that sentiment; I love his work as well. So you ended up doing a shoot for him and Colt that was a solo muscle worship style…(he jumps in) 

TF    Actually I did three.  I did a Hairy shoot first where I had a beard and full body hair and I had to grow my hair out for like 12 months, I think.  And then I did a smooth shoot; right after I did a solo video, a couple calendars, and just a few things here and there. 

GIO  Yes, you have been busy since coming to the U.S. You even ended up on the cover of MEN Magazine in 2003, how was that? 

TF    It was a shock! (gives another big smile) 

GIO  A shock? So how did that come to be? 

TF    You know…I think they ran out of guys…(Laughs)  No, I was covered in hair and I have no idea how I got on the cover, I just don’t know…I’m not trying to be humble or anything. It is that they picked me over others for some reason. If you look at the way I look today compared to back then (he looks down at his sculpted frame), I guess there is a look for everybody and I guess they just decided that’s what they wanted for that issue.  So….I guess I got lucky! 

GIO  No, we all got lucky!  You do look more muscular now, but you looked great in that issue of MEN as well.  But, to be honest, you do look more amazing now,. 

TF    Thank you (actually blushes a little and smiles) 

GIO  So, are you represented by David Forrest as your agent? 

TF    Yes, David Forest is looking after all my business right now. He is a hard working man. 

GIO  Yes he is. You are part of a great stable of men that he manages.  So, besides all the performing gigs, what else are you passionate about in life? 

TF    Passionate about…hmmm (he ponders a moment) Just making money.  Yeah, money, getting my financials secure for my future.  So many guys get into this industry and they never set themselves up.  You know, the day comes when you do not look like you used to, and they are only looking at the new faces.  You know it is unfortunate, but the majority of the guys have nothing. They have lived fast and hard. Sure they enjoyed it, but they hit a peak and then there is the big downside…if you don’t plan for the future, that downside comes very quickly and pretty hard. 

GIO  Absolutely! That is great advice for anyone getting into or already in this industry.  Your performances thus far on film have been solo; do you foresee yourself doing anything as far as coupling with another person on film in the future? 

TF    You know, it is interesting, that is the number one question I get asked. And uh, I am one of the only guys that have not done any hard-core porn.  I will tell you though, that on my website that is coming up…it has been a long time in the making because webmasters are very hard to find and not so reliable, but I have actually found one, and will have a live web-cam and there will be some hard-core stuff on that.  It is going to be interesting to say the least (gives me a big wink and a sexy grin). 

GIO  WOW - OK, so your site is www.trentfoster.com there, I will put that in the interview, so our readers can come check it out.  There is your shameless plug! 

TF    Yes, thank you so much Gio. 

GIO  So, since you are going to reveal all on your site, can you tell is if you are currently single or otherwise occupied? 

TF    Right now I am just working way too much.  There is time for play, but when you do this sort of work, everyday is play.  Right now I am quite happy just doing what I am doing…  

GIO  I read another interview with you where you describe yourself as “TrySexual” what does that mean? 

TF    (gives me a big grin and another wink) It means I will try anything (laughs) 

GIO  Yeah, I figured that.  If you had to describe yourself as an animal, what type would you be and why?

TF    Man that is a difficult question.  Hmmm…There are so many different animals that come to mind….chameleon; the tiger….The Python (grabs his crotch and smiles big, we both laugh).   

GIO  Yeah, well you definitely have the python down there (both start laughing again and Mark is staring again, but this time lower) I actually like the chameleon because you have definitely have had a lot of different looks over the years. 

TF    Yeah, I think that reinventing yourself every now and then is what keeps people interested, and having new content wherever you go is good too.  I have done the hairy look, the bearded look, the smooth look and now I have shaved my head completely to take on a little bit more of a body builder appearance.  So, I just keep changing to keep people interested.

GIO  Well again you do look amazing and you are totally ripped.  Man your thighs are amazing, how often are you working out these days? 

TF    Six days a week right now.  I just dropped 25 pounds for a body building competition. 

GIO  Man, you must have been huge before ripping your body to where it is now.  What class are you competing in? 

TF    Light middleweight; I am just a little boy in a big boy’s world. (He poses for me and gives another sexy grin) 

GIO  Well you are definitely doing it right Trent!  Your new look is great, it gives you that masculine, rugged animalistic look that is totally hot right now.  So, you told us about your new website and that people will be able to see you live on the site doing some hard-core stuff, what else do you have coming up? 

TF    Well it is going to come down to doing some different types of videos.  Maybe if someone talks me into doing something that I have not done before, and the money is there, we will just see what happens.   Anything is possible….(he ponders)  yeah….Anything is possible with Trent Fosters. (gives me a that sexy smile again) 

GIO  Any last comments you would like to make to the readers of Below the Belt as you have to be on stage in 2 minutes? 

TF    (Thinks for a moment) Nah, I got all these corny comments, but you know I am just going to keep them in so I do not embarrass myself.  (We both laugh)  You know, we Australians have a strange way with words and I had better just shut-up to keep outta trouble. 

GIO  Well I appreciate you taking the time to meet with me and Mark, thank you. 

TF    It was really nice talking to you guys as well.  Hey, would you mind sticking around for the show and photographing it for me?  I need some good photos of me performing with my new look. 

GIO  Of course I will do that, it will be my pleasure I assure you.  I will send you a copy of all the images to your Email when I get back next week. 

Mark (right after I took a couple photos of Trent backstage) Gio, this is awesome; he wants you to shoot his photos.  This is so cool…. 

And with that, Mark and I placed ourselves right in front of the stage for the show and all I can say is…WOW!!!  I will let the photographs speak for themselves on this one guys. He sure knows how to move and I can only imagine how well he maneuvers his “python.”  Damn, I have the toughest job don’t I?
