The daughter of the great Donny
Hathaway, Lalah Hathaway broke onto the
music scene with her self-titled album
in the early '90s for which she won
critical accolades. Her ability to sing
a wide range of musical genres,
including jazz, pop and gospel, has
earned her a place as one of today's
rising vocalists.

musicians, Ba Cissoko create high-energy
contemporary African music, combining
the crystalline sound of the kora, a
traditional 21-string harp, with deep

injects the age-old music of West Africa
with a groovy urban edge.
