The face is haunting, with the blue and blue background, but what draws me in is the red eyes; they are not sinister or evil, they are warm and inviting yet piercing making it the focal point of the entire painting.

This one, Half Blue is my all-time favorite, with a cross between Grace Jones and something from America’s Next Top Model photo shoot.
