Located right next door to Twist and near many of the gay hotels. This is a real diner. The food is real diner food and it's open 24/7. Of course they have burgers and fries, but they also have huge salads, soups and late-night comfort food like meatloaf, fried chicken and literally everything else you could want. Eggs are always prepared perfectly. Biscuits and gravy are a southern boy's dream come true. For dinner try anything with mashed potatoes and turkey gravy. I love the turkey gravy.

If I had to estimate how many times I've had breakfast, lunch or dinner in the 11th street diner, I couldn't begin. You'd have to shoot me. The food is reasonably priced, there's a full service bar, and the wait is usually no more than a few minutes, even at peak hours. This isn't gourmet dining, but it is always good and it's as close to a home cooked meal as you'll get on SoBe.

Depending on the time of day, the crowd ranges from mixed to very Gay. Late at night after Twist closes it tends to be very Gay.
